dc.description.abstract |
With the competitiveness that is growing in the telecom industry, the operators seek for ways to attract and keep the subscribers in their network. Giving away attractive promotions to their subscribers is a powerful and commonly used approach in that context. With the technical limitations and the scales of the rising subscriber base, these promotions have been limited to a very narrow pattern. In order to gain a competitive advantage, the operators need new technologies and methodologies to support more attractive newer patterns of promotions, despite the challenges involved in complex analyzing procedures. In this research study, we have come up with a system to select eligible users for a particular predefined promotion, analyzing the Caller Detail Records, while being scalable for a rapidly escalating subscriber base. |
