Abstract:
“Impossible only means that you haven't found the solution yet.”- James W. Pence. Our society is truly an information society. Today, the emergence of social software technologies transforms the Internet to a medium of mass social interaction and collaboration, also promoting the formation of massive online social networks. On the other hand, huge amounts of multimedia content, provided by and shared among individuals and members, are constantly accumulated in content sharing enablers. The demand for automated solution for video categorizing, video annotations and categorizing individual video increasing because, every day even for each second a video has been shared in the net. There are so many video streaming sites available. In order to view a desired video we have to search with the keyword or have to access the category. Most of the times the result may fail to produce the accurate answer. While video content is fairly simple to produce, finding the desired information have becomes a difficult challenge as video databases grow larger and larger. This paper presents such research work carried out for categorization of videos based on semantic analysis in the web and to provide an automated video sharing mechanism which improves the information retrieval of video material on the web.
