Abstract

Cities review as much about time as place. Their shape and appearance are derived from history as well as their present functions and to some extent from their future. The city as a "historical perspective" which juxtaposition various time frames, which is represents the layers of the past, present and future. Expressing this phenomenon is called "Layered City
