dc.description.abstract Architecture means creating the spaces meaningfully. Spaces are always reflecting the functions which maintained by its users. And it should guide its users while engaging with the activities which are enhanced in that space. The study is primarily concentrated on studying the minimalist approach related to the museum buildings. Architecture is mainly concentrated on creating meaningful spaces responding to the major generators. •User •Context •Higher purpose •Activity pattern In museum designing higher purpose, become the most prominent generator from the above. As architects we are responding to create spaces that balance the physical & psychological comfort of the user. Minimalism is defined in many ways by persons of many fields. Minimalism is a fact that can be adapted in museums to arrange the exhibits in a manner their values can be highlighted by the viewers. Museums, museums collections and objectives are often established before their proper accommodation, the building comes later. In this sense, a museum is not a building, but a process of fulfilling the many and varied functions which defined a museum. Inevitably, building forms an important part of this process and in that popular eye the museum is the building and all that it houses. The minimalism can play an important role in the field of museum both in architectural application of the building and its spaces. This minimal approach will varied upon the each individual desires. Simplicity is an attempt to examine the idea of the 'minimum', which can be seen as the pursuit of simplicity. Definitions of simplicity are not easy. It is an elusive quality, and the wide geographical and historical and spread of the very different cultures that have been interested in its attraction over the ages does not make it any easier to define its essence. Simplicity also has dimensions that go beyond pure aesthetics. It is also a reflection 1 of a certain philosophy or a way of thinking, which evokes a certain lifestyle. Since the society is getting complex than ever, the mode of aesthetic sense bought forward by the minimalism suggests a calm space, a place to show contemplation, where show moving nature becomes more viable in the present day context.
