dc.description.abstract The paper presents about studying and experimenting on optimal configuration of standalone solar panels, and the implementation of a control module named 'SOLAR OPTIMIZER' Optimal configuration of a solar panel means that, to generate highest amount of year-round solar power, a stationary photovoltaic panel must be kept in an optimal orientation and tilt angel 'Solar Optimizer' is a prototype controller which helps to automatically switch between AC mains and the AC inverted from solar battery with different priority levels.
