dc.description.abstract The present work focused on the catchment of Welipenna Ganga at the intersection point of the Southern Expressway. Suitability of the Rational Method, Snyder's Method and SCS Method for a hydrologic analysis of the situation were investigated. Snyder's Method was found to be the best suited for the basin. Three methods of estimating time of concentration were also compared. It was found that the sensitivity of the Time of Concentration on the discharge computations was not significant.
