dc.description.abstract From the point of greater degree of sustainability, the use of renewable materials for at least part of a built environment can be appreciated. In this context, the straw bonded solid panels manufactured as boards with a thickness of 58 mm can offer an ideal solution to be used as loadbearing walls and floor slabs panel. This paper describes the uses of “Dura”, a straw bonded solid panel and the various strategies that can be employed to ensure strength, durabilityand safety. en_US
