dc.description.abstract This articfe presents the initial development of a communication model (ModeLisi) as a mean of gathering, preserving and transferring indigenous kn01vledgein knowledge management. The articlefirst discusses the needfor an appropriate complimentary modelfor indigenous kn01vledgemanagement which differsfrom the existing methods and models. Then thepaper suggests the newlY developedmodelfor indigenous knowledge management which can be implemented as a complementary approach for the existing scientific method.
