The competitiveness of Sri Lankan apparel industry
Abstract
The apparel industry of Sri Lanka has survived for along period of time and the industry
was successfully catered to the international market especially for US and EU market in
the last two decades. Apparel exports still remains as the number one industrial exporter
for Sri Lanka gaining a share of 59% from total industrial exports in 2004.
