Abstract:
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) represents a global crisis that mounts to serious complications such as amputations. However, these complications are largely preventable with appropriate foot care, knowledge, and attitudes. The main objective of the study was to evaluate the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) and to explore the associations between, knowledge and attitudes against practice. Additionally, evaluation of the strength of association between the socio-demographic factors against the KAP variables separately, was an objective.
