Domestic fan s are a widely used appliance al l around the world . There are several type s o f fan controllers available for the speed controlling of the fans. Since the cost is a dominant facto r when the relevant market is concerned , lo w cost fan controllers are popular among the m eve n though there are several drawbacks . This thesis discusses design an d implementation o f a utility friendly hum less remote control f n controller unit at an affordable price .
