dc.description.abstractSLIDA is a dedicated training organization for government sector managers. This organization conducts more than I 00 training programs annually. They currently rely on a traditional course management system to handle their course management activities. The traditional system is not efficient enough to cater to the increasing demand and does not support for providing up to date information to the management. Hence it is suggested to apply a web based course management system to Overcome those problems. even though there are various commercial products available in the market; those products do not satisfy adequately SLIDA requirement. Hence SLIDA management expects to develop a tailor made software system. This dissertation describes the development or a computerized course management system for SLI DA. Object oriented techniques were used for analysis and design of the proposed system. Java, Java script, HTML, PHP any MySql technologies were used for implementation. Implemented System was tested and evaluated. This system satisfies the requirements of SLI DA management and ready for up loading into apache web sever.en_US
