Hume pipes are widely used for the conveyance of water, especially beneath the road networks. In Sri Lanka, diameters ranging from 300mm to 1800mm are used in the industry. Most of the manufactures have acquired the technology by trail and error. Therefore, the knowledge sharing is poor in the industry.en_US
