Human bones are the cornerstone of anatomy education, offering unique and real morphological details compared to synthetic models. Even though numerous techniques are used globally, there are no properly developed evidence-based guidelines to ensure the optimal quality, durability, and preservation of bone. This scoping review aims to identify and compare the techniques of bone preparation, evaluate effectiveness, and highlight gaps in the literature to target towards an optimized protocol.
