This paper presents a concept for a micro scale hybrid power plant design which utilizes animal draft power and biogas and it is well suited for rural farming villages with no access to electricity. A mechanism to extract animal draught power in an effective and efficient way is presented and the design procedure of the entire power plant is methodically discussed. In addition the estimated electricity output of a model plant design is presented and the practical feasibility aspects of the power plant are vividly discussed.en_US
