Abstract
Introduction to and Significance of Research
Noise pollution is associated with the physical and psychological health effects. In-room acoustics, knitted fabrics represent a strong source of innovation due to drapability and aesthetic appearance. However, in general, the sound absorption performance of knitted fabrics is relatively low. Knitted fabrics having larger surface areas have a greater potential to improve sound absorption.
