Impacts of unplanned property development in sub urban areas

Abstract

The Technical Annexure submitted along with the dissertation titled "The need for a redefinition of Colombo Metropolitan Area as a planning entity for integrated planning and development" is used to analyze the past planning studies related to Colombo Metropolis and quantitative analysis of the impacts of the determinants for delineation of Colombo Metropolitan Area. The main intension of submitting this Technical Annexure as a separate document is to facilitate those who wants to have different analysis based on this data for validation of the proposed boundary since this topic became most controversial in planning today. The analysis of Chapter Three of this dissertation is based on the annexure three and the Chapter Four of the report is based on annexure four respectively.
