| dc.description.abstract | This paper describes a future scenario where optical links are used for interlinking data super highways. Conventionally, optical carriers are used in guided form where it travels within an optical fibre. However, in space applications guided data channels are not possible. This will open up a new form of emission carrier having a very large bandwidth from the upper end of the electromagnetic spectrum. | en_US |
