The research was carried out to develop a method to measure and compare the manufacturing performance of Sri Lankan garment manufacturers. A Performance Measurement Model was developed. TOPSIS and AHP Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques were used to compare the performances. A case study was done to validate the method. 25 manufactures participated in the study. Data were collected through questionnaire and structured interviews. A performance ranking was given to each manufacturer and their weak points were identified. The proposed method was validated and could be applied only for the manufacturing performance of garment manufactures.en_US
